Hannah Cohen Returns With New Single “Golden Chain” and Announces Tour Dates

Hannah Cohen has released Golden Chain, her first new song since 2024’s Earthstar Mountain. In a statement, Cohen said, “The song just spilled out of me in an afternoon; it’s for the ethers now.”

The new track is sparse and slow-burning, drawing from folk and retro pop. Cohen’s soprano stays front and center as she delivers one of the song’s sharpest lines: “I wanna matter more to you than those internet girls you do.”

The release arrives with a video directed by Keenan O’Meara. Set in upstate New York, the clip frames Cohen in a classic Hollywood style, leaning into old-glamour looks while keeping the setting grounded in the Catskills atmosphere tied to her recent work.

Cohen has also confirmed a run of North American and European dates this year, including festival stops and support slots with Caamp and Alabama Shakes.
