Madonna Releases “Bring Your Love” Featuring Sabrina Carpenter Ahead of Confessions II

Madonna has released “Bring Your Love” with Sabrina Carpenter after debuting it together at Coachella weekend two. The song follows lead single “I Feel So Free” and previews Confessions II, out July 3 via Warner.

Madonna has officially released Bring Your Love, her new collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter, following the song’s live debut during Coachella weekend two in Indio. The track is the latest preview of Confessions II, Madonna’s upcoming sequel to 2005’s Stuart Price-produced Confessions on a Dance Floor.

The release arrives two weeks after lead single I Feel So Free. Madonna and Carpenter first performed Bring Your Love together during Madonna’s surprise appearance at Carpenter’s Coachella set, where the two introduced the song onstage before its studio version dropped today.

Lyrically, the record opens with Madonna singing, “Don’t comment on my IQ/ I don’t want your judgment or your expectations.” Later, she adds, “I know where the bodies are buried/ Don’t try to shut me up/ Don’t try to distract me with numbers/ I did it all for love.”

Sonically, Bring Your Love leans toward Madonna’s classic dance-pop lane, with references to the spoken, attitude-forward style associated with Vogue as much as the club pulse tied to the original Confessions era.

Confessions II is due July 3 via Warner.
