Kim Petras released Jeep on BunHead/Amigo. A guitar-led ballad co-written and co-produced with Porches., Nightfeelings and Eric Cross, it pairs glitched acoustic motifs and heavy Auto-Tune with lyrics about a past relationship.

Kim Petras released Jeep, a ballad out now on BunHead/Amigo. She co-wrote and co-produced the track with Porches., Nightfeelings and Eric Cross.
The arrangement centers on an acoustic guitar with a country tinge. The guitar is deliberately glitched before club-style drums arrive. Petras uses heavy Auto-Tune and leans into conversational phrasing to sing about a past relationship.
We got history, and history repeats.
We can just drive around! Listen to teccccchno! Listen to Emmmmminem! Listen to Sliiiiipknot! Sex in the parking lot, gas station! Maybe you can buy a new shirt there, too!
The song credits include Porches. as a writer and producer. Nightfeelings, who has worked with Petras on recent material, is also credited, as is Eric Cross, a collaborator of Dorian Electra.
Leonie Miller-Aichholz directed the video. The clip places Petras in a more grounded setting than the CGI-heavy worlds she has visited before, with focus on cars and close close-ups.
Petras left Republic Records before an independent run that has leaned into hyperpop and club music, including the single “Need For Speed” and work with Frost Children. Jeep marks a return to a slower, guitar-led form while retaining modern production touches.
Jeep is available now on BunHead/Amigo.
