Romeo Santos and Prince Royce’s “Dardos” Tops Latin Airplay

Romeo Santos and Prince Royce reached No. 1 on Billboard's May 9 Latin Airplay chart as "Dardos" rose to 9.2 million impressions, a 37% increase. Santos now has 24 Latin Airplay leaders; Royce his 20th. La Arrolladora hit No. 1 on Regional Mexican Airplay.

Romeo Santos and Prince Royce reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart dated May 9 as “Dardos” rose from No. 3 to No. 1.

The song logged 9.2 million audience impressions in the week ending April 30, a 37% increase, according to Luminate. The gain made “Dardos” the week’s Greatest Gainer on the chart. It replaced Maluma and Kany García’s “1+1,” which fell to No. 3 with 6.5 million impressions, a 30% decline.

This is Santos and Royce’s second No. 1 single together. Their earlier collaboration, “Lokita Por Mí,” led Latin Airplay for three weeks from December 2025 through March 2026. Both tracks appear on the joint album Better Late Than Never, which debuted at No. 2 on Top Latin Albums and topped the Top Tropical Albums list for two weeks in late 2025.

On the overall Latin Airplay chart, Santos extended his record for most No. 1s among tropical acts since the chart began in 1994, reaching 24 leaders. Royce earned his 20th No. 1 on the same chart.

On Tropical Airplay, where “Dardos” moved to No. 1 from No. 2, Royce recorded his 28th No. 1. He now trails Victor Manuelle, who has 29 No. 1s, and Marc Anthony, who has 39. Santos registered his 21st No. 1 on that chart.

In Regional Mexican, La Arrolladora Banda El Limón de René Camacho scored its 22nd No. 1 on Regional Mexican Airplay with “¿Dónde Estabas Tú?.” The group’s total ties Banda MS for the second-most leaders in the chart’s nearly 32-year history, behind Calibre 50, which holds the record with 29 No. 1s.

“¿Dónde Estabas Tú?” reached the top with 7 million audience impressions, a 10% increase during the tracking week. The single follows the group’s recent two-week leader with Juanes, “Una Noche Contigo.” All audience figures are from Luminate for the week ending April 30.
