Quavo and Offset Revive Migos Instagram, Fuel Reunion Speculation
Quavo and Offset revived the Migos Instagram on May 5 with studio photos from a May 3 session. Posts and an earlier Quavo Instagram Story teasing a TakeOff album and more material have intensified talk of a Migos reunion.
Quavo and Offset posted studio photos to the official Migos Instagram on May 5, reviving the account after more than two years of silence.
The post includes images from a studio session on May 3 that show Offset in the vocal booth and Quavo working at the console. The Instagram update has drawn more than 335,000 likes and renewed public speculation about the group’s future.
Last week Quavo used his Instagram Story to tease multiple projects tied to the late TakeOff and to suggest more Migos work could follow. He wrote:
“Warriors Never fold. Jobs Not Finished. TAKEOFF ALBUM. UNC N PHEW 2. LAST ????? ALBUM. REAL MIGO BLOOD RUN IN MY VEINS!!! AINT NO NEW CHAPTER JUST THE NEXT ONE,”
Offset reposted the message and responded, “On dat,” adding to the impression that the two are coordinating plans.
TakeOff, born Kirshnik Khari Ball, was shot and killed after an incident at 810 Billiards & Bowling in Houston on November 1, 2022.
Quavo and Offset had been reported as distant in the period following TakeOff’s death. Their Saturday studio session was the first widely shared joint appearance in years.
The trio’s last full-group release was Culture III in 2021. The album was presented at the time as the group’s fourth and final LP and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 130,000 album units, according to Luminate.
The new Instagram activity has not been accompanied by a formal announcement or release date. Representatives for the artists did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
