COUCOU CHLOE has returned with “Candyland,” a new single that follows “Venom,” which she released earlier this year.

The video leans into unsettling imagery. There are clown masks, blurred faces, and strobe lighting. The visuals read more like a homemade slasher film than club footage.

Self-produced and sonically unhinged, “Candyland” pushes COUCOU CHLOE’s sound further into distortion. The track folds splintered samples into unpredictable drums. Vocals warp between sleek and malevolent.

The song is intense and disorienting until it becomes oddly soothing. It functions, as described, like a “stockholm syndrome kind of track.”
