Chris Brown Releases 12th Album Brown Featuring YoungBoy, GloRilla and Sexyy Red

Chris Brown released his 12th studio album Brown on May 8, a 27-track record featuring YoungBoy Never Broke Again, GloRilla, Sexyy Red and more.

Chris Brown released his 12th studio album, Brown, on Friday (May 8). The 27-track set is built around a backronym — Break Rules Only When Necessary — and includes guest appearances from YoungBoy Never Broke Again, GloRilla, Vybz Kartel, Leon Thomas, Bryson Tiller, Tank, Fridayy, Sexyy Red and Lucky Daye.

Four of the album’s tracks were issued as singles ahead of the full release: “Obvious,” “Fallin’,” “Holy Blindfold” and “It Depends.”

Sexyy Red acknowledged her contribution on Instagram in the days before the album dropped. “Dis is so tight thank u for having me apart of it I love you Bhrisssssss,” she wrote in CB’s comments on May 5.

R&B Tour with Usher

Brown arrives as Chris Brown prepares to join Usher for the R&B Tour this year. The co-headlining run spans 33 dates across North America, opening in Denver on June 26 and concluding in Tampa Bay, Fla., on Dec. 11. Stops include New Jersey, Detroit, Washington, D.C., Cleveland, Toronto, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, New Orleans and Miami.

The album and the tour follow a busy personal start to the year for Brown. The 37-year-old welcomed a baby boy with influencer Jada Wallace in April, bringing his household to four children. He is also father to 11-year-old Royalty Brown, 6-year-old Aeko Catori Brown and 4-year-old Lovely Symphani Brown.
