On the upcoming shows, frontman Jim Ward said:

“There is no better feeling than hopping on a plane to cross an ocean to play music. The gift of travel, friends, sweat and rock and roll is one that I’ll be forever grateful for. This new record is a special one; it’s something you can’t plan for, but when the stars align, and the songs come together, you’ve got to just go, go, go – so we will. We can’t wait to get back to some of our favourite cities with some of our favourite people.”

The album’s title was lifted from a line Macaulay Culkin uses in a documentary about John Candy, describing Candy’s presence as something that “just entered your brain and cut a silhouette.” The phrase stuck with Ward and shaped the record’s direction.

Cut A Silhouette was produced by J. Robbins. Contributors include Frank Iero of My Chemical Romance, Kemble Walters of Chevelle, and Carlos Arévalo of Chicano Batman.
