Manon to Appear on Germany’s Next Topmodel While on Hiatus from KATSEYE

Manon Bannerman will appear on Germany’s Next Topmodel, Billboard has confirmed. A short teaser showing her walking the catwalk and being greeted by host Heidi Klum began circulating on Thursday, May 7.

The clip surfaced on social media via X.

The appearance comes while Manon remains on a temporary hiatus from the Swiss girl group KATSEYE. The band announced in February that, “after open and thoughtful conversations together … Manon will be taking a temporary hiatus from group activities to focus on her health and well-being.”

KATSEYE are currently promoting their upcoming Wild EP. The five-track record is scheduled for release on Aug. 14. The group recently led into the project with the single “Pinky Up,” which arrived with a music video that does not feature Manon and later debuted at No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The remaining members—Daniela, Lara, Megan, Sophia and Yoonchae—played Coachella across back-to-back weekends in April.

“Manon has been on hiatus, and we love her so much, and we know that she’s doing well,” Sophia said during an April interview with Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe.

“I think we also want to say she’s our sister forever,” Lara added. “We love her so much, and we built this together. So we just want to give her all the space and love she needs right now.”

The German reality show, modeled on the original America’s Next Top Model, frequently features celebrity cameos and guest judges. The episode featuring Manon is expected to air on Thursday, May 14.
