Grupo Frontera and Alejandro Fernández released their first collaboration, “Cada Vez Me Gusta Más,” a song built around an impossible breakup and a clash of generational styles.

The track follows a man who ignores outside advice and follows his heart. The chorus states, “If you could see her one night through my eyes/ I assure you that you, too, would show her off.”

Musically, the song opens with roughly a minute of traditional ranchera in Fernández’s register before moving into Grupo Frontera’s signature norteño groove.

New Music Latin poll and this week’s releases

This week, Billboard‘s New Music Latin poll — curated with recommendations from Billboard Latin and Billboard Español editors — includes several new albums: Carín León’s Muda; Codiciado’s Así Es La Vida; Omerta, a joint album by J Balvin and Ryan Castro; and Chuyin’s Los Locos Nunca Mueren.

Other artists who released new material this week include Sebastián Yatra, RaiNao and Christian Nodal.

The most recent New Music Latin poll was won by Jorge Luis Chacín’s album De Amor, Sueños y Cantares, which received more than 57% of the vote.
