EJAE, Hayley Kiyoko, Bowen Yang and More Mark Gold House’s 2026 Gold Gala in Los Angeles
Gold House held its fifth annual Gold Gala in Los Angeles on May 9, honoring Asian Pacific and multicultural leaders with EJAE, H.E.R. and more in attendance.
The Gold House Gold Gala returned to Los Angeles on Saturday, May 9, for its fifth edition, bringing together artists, actors and industry figures at The Music Center downtown.
The annual event was built around Gold House’s 2026 Gold100 List, which recognizes the 100 most impactful Asian Pacific leaders of the past year. Among the attendees were EJAE, Bowen Yang, Hayley Kiyoko, H.E.R., GIRLSET, Halsey, Simu Liu, Charles Melton, Eileen Gu, Jet Li, Chloé Zhao, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen.
Several honorees were also recognized during the evening. Priyanka Chopra Jonas received the inaugural Global Vanguard honor. Charles Melton, who stars in Beef season two, was presented with the Gold Artistic Achievement honor. Eileen Gu received the Gold Impact Award, Simu Liu took home the Gold Mogul Award, and Jet Li was honored with the Gold Legend Award.
Onstage, Hayley Kiyoko performed “Girls Like Girls” with ARKAI and Lindsey Stirling ahead of her directorial debut. H.E.R. and actress Liza Soberano also gave the crowd an exclusive first look at their upcoming film, Forgotten Island.
The gala was followed by the Billboard x Gold House Founders Party, where RuPaul’s Drag Race stars Nymphia Wind and Plastique Tiara performed and Mortal Kombat II star Joe Taslim handled a DJ set.
The afterparty also included a Maybelline New York-sponsored celebrity karaoke room. There, KPop Demon Hunters filmmaker Maggie Kang joined actors Ross Butler and Saagar Shaikh for a run through Linkin Park’s “In the End.”
Before the gala, Billboard caught up with a group of stars about their favorite cultural foods. Hayley Kiyoko picked sukiyaki, the Japanese hot pot dish. H.E.R. shouted out halo-halo, the Filipino dessert. Priyanka Chopra Jonas named Indian chutney, while Pentatonix’s Scott Hoying and his husband Mark Hoying recommended traditional Filipino rice cake.
More attendees at the 2026 Gold Gala included GIRLSET members Camila Ribeaux Valdes, Kendall Ebeling, Lexi Vang and Savanna Collins, along with Halsey and John Legend and Chrissy Teigen.
