Fat Dog Share "Go Fuck Urself" and Map Out a Long Run of UK and Europe Dates

Fat Dog have returned with a new single, and the title is the least predictable thing about it. “Go Fuck Urself” is built as a bouncy, ecstatic synthpop track with a big singalong chorus, a song that seems more likely to land in a festival crowd than in a confrontation. In that sense, the insult is almost the joke.

The UK dance-punk group have been keeping busy since releasing their debut album WOOF. in 2024. They have already put out the one-off singles “Peace Song” and “Pray To That,” while side projects like ELLiS·D and Morgan Noise have also surfaced in the meantime. Now the band are lining up a dense stretch of shows across the UK and Europe, including dates opening for Foo Fighters and Kneecap, which makes the timing of another standalone single feel practical as much as anything else.

Frontman Joe Love co-produced “Go Fuck Urself” with Oli Bayston, who has also worked with Olivia Dean and Rachel Chinouriri. The video was directed by Nine Screens, the duo of Dylan Coates and Travis Barton. It finds Love in a cowboy hat and leather vest, with the band and cheerleaders inside a wrestling ring while stand-ins for various pop stars watch from the sidelines in obvious disapproval.
