6ix9ine Faces Backlash After Comments on Girlfriend’s Pregnancy at Gender Reveal Party

Tekashi 6ix9ine sparked backlash after saying he would terminate Aliday Alter’s pregnancy if the baby were a girl.

Tekashi 6ix9ine is drawing fresh controversy after making disturbing comments about his girlfriend Aliday Alter’s pregnancy during a gender reveal party.

The 30-year-old rapper, born Daniel Hernandez and formerly known as Tekashi 6ix9ine, was caught on livestream telling a group of streamers that the pregnancy would be terminated if the baby turned out to be a girl. TMZ shared the clip from the event.

“If it’s not a boy, it’s an a-bor-tion,” 6ix9ine says in the footage.

The streamers involved, Adin Ross, Clavicular and N3ON, appear taken aback and laugh awkwardly before 6ix9ine walks them over to Alter. When asked what gender she thought the baby was, Alter laughed and said she believed it was a girl. 6ix9ine then repeated his abortion claim, saying Alter agreed with him.

“She’s down,” the rapper says. “She’s open-minded.”

The reveal later showed the couple is expecting a baby boy.

Alter first announced the pregnancy in April, posting a photo on Instagram of herself in a cheetah print dress on the beach with her baby bump visible. She wrote, “My world is about to change.” TMZ reported that she and 6ix9ine have been dating for about a year.

6ix9ine is already reportedly the father of a 12-year-old daughter with ex-girlfriend Sara Molina and another daughter, 7, with Marlayna M.

The comments come months after 6ix9ine turned himself in in January to begin a three-month sentence for violating the terms of supervised release tied to his racketeering case. Authorities found cocaine and MDMA on him, and he also admitted to assaulting a man who allegedly taunted him about cooperating with authorities during a trip to a Florida mall.
