The track leans into bass and synth, with clear hip-hop influence and lyrics in English and Korean. G-DRAGON appears on the third verse before the song closes on the repeated lines, “She a whole different animal” and “Give me all smoke, gun powder, powder.”
aespa also released a music video for the single. It places the group in a setting where reality and the digital world blur together. In the video, replicas of the four members multiply, creating a split between what is real and what is fake before the group pushes through the confusion and reclaims its identity.
The release follows aespa’s April announcement of LEMONADE, which is due May 29. The album comes after their 2024 EP Whiplash, which reached No. 8 on the Billboard 200. In 2025, aespa were named Group of the Year at Billboard Women in Music.
The new album will be followed by the group’s fourth world tour, SYNK: COMPLæXITY. It starts August 7 with two shows in Seoul, then moves through more dates in Asia, North America and Europe. The tour comes after the wrap of their SYNK : aeXIS LINE run last month.
