Delta Goodrem Sets New Album Pure Ahead of Eurovision Performance

Delta Goodrem announces Pure, her first album through Universal Music, ahead of her 2026 Eurovision performance in Vienna.

Delta Goodrem has announced Pure, her first album under a new deal with Universal Music via Better Now Records/Electrola.

The album is set for release on Nov. 6 and will also be the first LP issued through her independent label ATLED Records, the company she launched in 2023 after ending a long-running partnership with Sony Music.

“I am so excited to be stepping into this new chapter and joining forces with Universal Music,” Goodrem said in a statement. “It marks the beginning of a powerful new home for ATLED Records – something I am incredibly proud of – and I can’t wait to share what we create together.”

Pure follows the Sydney singer and songwriter’s 2021 album Bridge Over Troubled Dreams, released via Sony Music. That project was her fifth No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart, after Innocent Eyes (2003), Mistaken Identity (2004), Delta (2007) and Wings Of The Wild (2016).

Goodrem said the new record has been taking shape for several years. “Pure is an album I’ve been creating and living through over the past few years, and it truly feels like a return to myself and the heart of who I am as an artist,” she said. “It holds some of my biggest singalongs, my most vulnerable moments, and brings in all the elements I love most in music – from intimate classical piano pieces to uplifting cinematic anthems. I cannot wait for everyone to step into the world of Pure and make these songs part of their own story too.”

The album includes “Eclipse,” which Goodrem will perform at the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria, later this week. It will be her first time on the Eurovision stage as Australia’s representative.

“Eclipse” was written by Delta, Ferras Alqaisi, Jonas Myrin and Michael Fatkin, who also produced the track.

In Australia, Goodrem remains one of the country’s most successful pop artists of the century. She signed her first record deal at 15 and has collected 12 ARIA Awards, along with five No. 1 albums. Her 2003 debut Innocent Eyes spent 29 weeks at No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart, making it the highest-selling debut album in Australian recorded music history. The album won seven ARIA Awards, was the top-selling album in Australia for two straight years and produced five of her nine career No. 1 singles. Her catalog has sold close to 10 million copies.

A classically trained pianist, Goodrem will use harp and piano in her Eurovision performance for the contest’s 70th edition. “Performing on the Eurovision stage is something I feel so deeply in my heart, carrying Australia with me in every note and every moment,” she said in a separate statement.

She is set to perform “Eclipse” at the Wiener Stadthalle for Semi-Final 2 on Thursday, May 14 at 3 p.m. ET, which is Friday, May 15 at 5:00 a.m. AEST.
