Druski Visits Cardi B, John Legend, Jamie Foxx and Martin Lawrence in BET Awards Invite Promo

Druski is making the 2026 BET Awards impossible to ignore. The comedian, who is also this year’s host, turns up at the homes of John Legend, Jamie Foxx, Cardi B and Martin Lawrence in a new promo built around personal invitations to the June 28 show.

The clip, shared in a <new promo>, opens with Druski at John Legend’s door alongside a gospel choir. When Legend asks what he is doing there, Druski answers: “I’m hosting the BET Awards!” The choir follows with, “He’s the host!” before Druski tells Legend he is invited to “culture’s biggest night.” The singers then remind him the ceremony is on June 28, and Legend heads back inside after saying they sound good.

Druski’s next stop is Jamie Foxx’s house, where he arrives on horseback, a reference to Foxx’s Django Unchained role. He again says he is hosting “the culture’s biggest night” and tells Foxx the dress code is black suit and tie. Foxx fires back, “It’s black suit and tie but can you get your black a— off my street,” and declines the offer to ride to the awards with Druski.

Cardi B gets the full mariachi treatment. Druski shows up at her house with the band in tow, only to realize she is Dominican, not Mexican. He moves past the mix-up, hands over her invite and tells her to “bring the girls out.” Cardi answers, “You know I’ll bring the girls,” then adds, “Thank you, papacitos!”

For Martin Lawrence, Druski swaps the horse and musicians for a giant BET Awards sign and pyrotechnics. Lawrence starts to ask whether he has time to get a black suit and tie before Druski cuts him off by relighting his sparklers. The two shout “June 28th” at each other before Lawrence goes back inside and shuts the door.

The 2026 BET Awards will air live on June 28 from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. BET has made sure the date is hard to miss, and Druski makes the same point repeatedly throughout the promo.
