ear have released “Ne Plus Ultra,” their first new music of the year.
The IDM‑inspired duo issued the track after last September’s self‑released debut album The Most Dear And The Future. That album followed the pair’s first release, 2024’s Nerves.
The new single reads like found footage. It assembles buzzy bass blowouts, spaceship blips, icy vocals, cut‑and‑paste sound bits, kitten cries, and 2000s electronica melodies into a compact collage.
“Ne Plus Ultra” translates from Latin as “nothing further beyond.”
