Gracie Abrams announced Daughter From Hell, her third album, due July 17. Lead single Hit the Wall arrives May 14.

Gracie Abrams has announced her third studio album. Daughter From Hell is due July 17, with lead single “Hit the Wall” set to arrive Thursday, May 14.

The singer-songwriter revealed the album title, cover art and release date on Instagram on Monday, May 11. “My third album is out July 17,” she wrote. “Whoa whoa whoa. Freaking out.” She also said of the project, “I am so ready for it to be yours.”

The cover shows Abrams in an up-close photo, crouched with her eyes fixed on something off in the distance.

According to the Daughter From Hell countdown page on Spotify, the album will include 16 tracks. It was produced by Aaron Dessner, Abrams’ longtime collaborator who also worked on her 2023 debut Good Riddance and 2024 sophomore album The Secret of Us.

That second album marked Abrams’ commercial breakthrough. Good Riddance reached No. 52 on the Billboard 200, while The Secret of Us climbed to No. 2 and produced hits including “That’s So True” and “I Love You, I’m Sorry.”

Abrams has been signaling new music for months. In her 2025 Billboard cover story, she said she and Dessner were “catching each other in these little pockets between hectic times” so they could keep working in the studio. “Every day that I live with the music, things start to become a little clearer,” she said then. “There’s something we’re starting to crack that is making both of us feel energized.”

In April, she added more fuel to the rollout by posting photos of her journal with “DFH” stickers on it. The Daughter From Hell announcement followed soon after.
