Jack Johnson will return to Australia and New Zealand in November 2026 for six dates, joined by Ben Harper and John Butler, in support of his upcoming SURFILMUSIC soundtrack project.

Jack Johnson has announced a six-date Australia and New Zealand run for November 2026, with Ben Harper and John Butler joining as special guests for solo acoustic sets.
The shows are billed as the SURFILMUSIC 2026 Australia & New Zealand Tour and begin Nov. 7 at Riverstage in Brisbane. The itinerary then moves to Kings Park & Botanic Gardens in Perth (Nov. 10), The Domain in Sydney (Nov. 14), Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne (Nov. 17), Spark Arena in Auckland (Nov. 20), and wraps Nov. 22 at Waipara Winehouse in North Canterbury, New Zealand.
Artist presale runs May 7-8. A Mastercard presale follows from May 8-12. General ticket sales open May 12 at 2 p.m. local time.
The tour supports Johnson’s upcoming SURFILMUSIC documentary soundtrack, due May 15, which he scored with Hermanos Gutiérrez. The related documentary premiered at SXSW in March and follows Johnson’s path from North Shore surfer to filmmaker and recording artist, including the making of Thicker Than Water (1999) and The September Sessions (2000).
Johnson will perform with longtime bandmates Adam Topol, Merlo Podlewski, and Zach Gill. The setlist is expected to include catalog staples such as “Better Together,” “Flake,” “Inaudible Melodies,” “Taylor,” and “Sitting, Waiting, Wishing,” alongside new soundtrack material.
Harper, a three-time Grammy winner, joins the bill with a catalog that includes “Burn One Down,” “Steal My Kisses,” and “Diamonds on the Inside.” Butler, a fixture of Australia’s independent scene for more than 25 years, brings songs including “Zebra,” “Better Than,” and “Ocean.”
Indigenous artist Emily Wurramara will appear on the Sydney date only. The Australian shows are presented by Live Nation in partnership with Double J.
Johnson has sold more than 25 million albums across eight studio releases. Since 2001, proceeds tied to his albums and touring have contributed more than $40 million to environmental, arts, and music education causes through the Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation and the Johnson ʻOhana Foundation, which he co-founded with his wife Kim.
