Junior Varsity Release New EP Ready as Duo Era Begins

Junior Varsity have released their new EP Ready via Key, led by last month’s single Radio. The LA group now continues as a duo with Greg Aram and Zach Michel, and bills this release as Side A.

Los Angeles alt-pop act Junior Varsity released their new EP Ready today via Key, following last month’s single Radio. The project arrives as the group continues as a duo, with Greg Aram and Zach Michel now leading the project after singer Brooke Danaher’s departure.

Ready includes an intro and four additional tracks beyond Radio. Aram and Michel keep the project rooted in polished alt-pop production that blends 2010s pop precision with early-2000s indie-pop references. The release also brings in guest vocal appearances from Oxis, Lola Blue, the Teenagers, and Unflirt, maintaining the group’s signature mixed-vocal approach.

The EP is presented as Side A, with Side B expected later this year. For now, Side A is available in full.

Ready is out now via Key.
