MUNA release ‘Eastside Girls’ video and announce 2026 UK, Europe and North America tour

MUNA have released a new video for ‘Eastside Girls’ and confirmed a major 2026 tour across the UK, Europe and North America.

The news follows the arrival of the trio’s fourth studio album, ‘Dancing On The Wall’, out now via Saddest Factory Records/Secretly Group. The record follows 2022’s self-titled album and, according to the band, marks their most precise and sonically expansive release to date.

“We’re excited to finally release our fourth album. Thank you to everyone who has been with us since day one and welcome to those of you who are just joining us… you’re right on time,” the band said. “This is an album about love, heat (literal and metaphorical), horniness, and heartache, grounded in the here and now as we experience it. We hope it makes for good company, wherever you are.”

The ‘Eastside Girls’ clip arrives as a companion piece to the album release. In the video, the trio appear under warm, retro lighting, playing mechanics and hanging in the backseat of a car as the track plays out.

MUNA’s newly announced 2026 run will begin after their previously scheduled dates in Los Angeles, Brooklyn and London this month, along with summer festival appearances including Lollapalooza.

The next leg starts in Phoenix on September 17 and continues through cities including Austin, Dallas, Nashville, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Boston, Toronto, Chicago, Minneapolis, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Stanford and Morrison. Hemlocke Springs will support those shows.

The band then move to the UK and Europe in November, with dates in Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol, London, Amsterdam, Paris, Brussels, Cologne, Warsaw and Berlin.

NME gave ‘Dancing On The Wall’ a three-and-a-half-star review, writing that the LA trio had settled into “euphoric pop bangers with a shadowy side”. The review also noted that while the album moves into some new lyrical territory on songs like ‘Big Stick’ and briefly leans into heavier, rock-influenced sounds, it stays close to the hyper-saturated synthpop that has defined MUNA since the start.

“And in MUNA’s world, precise, irresistible consistency can be just as compelling as constant reinvention,” the review said.
