Olivia Rodrigo played an invite-only Spotify Billions Club Live show in Barcelona before El Clásico, performing 14 songs at Teatre Grec.

Olivia Rodrigo marked the lead-up to El Clásico with an invite-only Spotify Billions Club Live set in Barcelona, performing at Teatre Grec on the slope of Montjuïc mountain in front of about 1,500 fans.
Billboard was on site for the show, which took place at the outdoor amphitheater as part of Rodrigo’s latest Spotify push and her new partnership with FC Barcelona. Guests were met with the venue turned over for the occasion, including landscaped decor, merch for the football collaboration, free food and drinks, and a photo spot featuring all nine of Rodrigo’s Billions Club plaques.

The free concert was reserved for Rodrigo’s top local listeners, with invites sent to fans “selected through their listening on Spotify,” according to an early press release. Like previous Spotify Billions Club Live events from Bad Bunny, Miley Cyrus and others, the night focused on the songs that have carried her streaming numbers past the billion mark.
That included nearly all of her biggest hits, plus a few extras. The show came just two days before FC Barcelona and Real Madrid meet at the recently renovated Spotify Camp Nou. If Barça wins, the club could be crowned league champions. Players will also wear an exclusive version of the blaugrana jersey with Rodrigo’s logo replacing Spotify’s.
Rodrigo opened and closed the set with GUTS tracks, just as she has on her 2024-25 tour and festival dates. “Bad Idea Right?” kicked things off with a burst of energy, with Rodrigo and her all-female band pushing the pace from the start. She ended the night with “Get Him Back!,” which brought the crowd back in on the final stretch.
Before two acoustic songs with guitarist Arianna Powell, Rodrigo paused to talk about her time in the city. “I’ve been having so much fun in Barcelona,” she said, sitting cross-legged at the edge of the stage. “I’m not blowing smoke, I love it. Every time I get to come here, it’s like a little vacation. You guys are the most beautiful city ever.” She also said she had been “practicing my Spanish” and thanked the crowd with, “Muchas gracias estar por aqui conmigo,” which translates to, “Thank you so much for being here with me.”
The crowd was a major part of the night. Fans chanted “y reina, y reina, y reina, reina, reina!” before she moved to the grand piano, with some waving Olivia Rodrigo x Spotify x FC Barcelona scarves. Before “Drop Dead,” one fan handed her a flower bouquet that matched the pink-heavy look of the evening. Rodrigo also had fans sing with her during “Deja Vu” and stepped off the stage and into the crowd for “jealousy, jealousy.”
One Billions Club track was missing. Rodrigo has nine songs with more than a billion streams on Spotify, including four above two billion, but she did not perform “All I Want,” her 2020 breakout from High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. After the set ended, a few fans still chanted the song’s title as crew members started taking the stage down.
The Barcelona show lasted just under an hour and included 14 songs total, with eight Billions Club tracks and five other songs from her catalog.
