Playboi Carti Scores Record-Breaking Sixth Rolling Loud Orlando Headlining Set With Opium Crew in Tow

Playboi Carti extended his hold on Rolling Loud Orlando on Saturday night, delivering a record-breaking sixth headlining set at the festival’s 2026 edition in Orlando, Florida.

Perched roughly 100 feet above the crowd on a gothic staircase without a harness, Carti performed in front of more than 60,000 fans who stayed fixed on every move. He wore a white dress shirt, leather pants and a black YSL suit jacket with tassels, finished in his usual mix of star diamond earrings, piercings, chain, sunglasses and a du-rag.

He hit the stage at around 10 p.m. ET as temperatures cooled, opening with “HBA” and quickly setting off the Opium-heavy audience. From there, he moved through fan favorites including “Pop Out,” “Evil J0rdan,” “Stop Breathing” and “Sky,” before “FE!N” brought the moshpits and a burst of pyrotechnics to the Under Armour Stage.

MUSIC topped the Billboard 200 when it arrived in March of last year, and the album has now remained on the chart for 59 straight weeks.

The weekend had already been marked by Opium as a whole. Destroy Lonely and HXG performed before Carti, while Ken Carson is scheduled to step in for NBA YoungBoy as Sunday’s headliner. Carti later joined his mentees on stage, a moment that underscored how firmly the crew has inserted itself into rap’s current hierarchy.

Carson also used the slot to preview an unreleased rage track, which may point toward what is coming next on The Xperiment. Carti then went back into his own catalog with “Rockstar Made,” “OPM BABI,” “K Pop” and “Like Weezy.”

One of the night’s sharper flashes came when Carti reached back to the opening of his 2017 self-titled mixtape for “Location.” If Lil Uzi Vert had appeared for “Shoota,” the reaction would likely have been extreme. At one point, Carti even removed his belt and started whipping the railing between screeches.

Throughout the set, Carti repeatedly shouted out graduates from this academic year, even as he mocked the idea in his own way. “Congratulations, you made it, b—h,” he said during “Long Time.” “Congratulations to the class of 2026. Congratulations to everyone who graduated. You made it.”

As the 11 p.m. ET curfew approached, Carti told DJ Swamp Izzo he was prepared to go over and accept the consequences. “I got too many songs, just do it. F—k the budget,” he said before launching into “Rather Lie.”

The set did not lean on many surprises, but he did pull out the Vory-assisted

“24 Songs.”

The track had long circulated online before leaking in full in 2023.

By the final stretch, the pace had eased a bit. Carti still closed with “Crank” and reinforced his Rolling Loud status, though DJ Swamp Izzo got the final word. “Baby Boi on the way,” he teased, referring to Carti’s rumored next project.

Carti disappeared into the dark around 11:15 p.m. ET.
