PNAU have announced their seventh studio album, AHHCade, and released a new single, “Nirvana,” a collaboration with Atlanta duo EARTHGANG and sadMONTH, out today, May 8.

The album is due July 31 via Sydney indie label etcetc, part of TMRW Music. The announcement arrives alongside “Nirvana,” which PNAU say marks “the birth of a new era.”
“There is a sense of belonging about music, about the journey we have taken. Both Peter and I and our collaborators, creating a home on the dancefloor, between the ears of the listener,” Nick Littlemore says. “We are making heart songs. While, yes, they have electronics and they have technology, they are essentially expressions of the heart.”
AHHCade follows 2024’s Sambanova. It already includes the recent single “Tu Corazon (Your Heart)” featuring Mexican rock act The Warning, and now “Nirvana,” which the band describe as “fierce, feverish and harks back to the shape of punk electronic yet to come.”
“Nirvana” pairs PNAU with EARTHGANG, and introduces sadMONTH, a new project from Littlemore and Toronto producer Dom Dias. Littlemore calls the track a first taste of the group’s next chapter: “Get ready to be uptight, upgrooved and unhinged for a new disorder.”
EARTHGANG: “For ‘Nirvana’ we tapped the euphoric and enlightened energy with PNAU, and surfed the electro crush. We appreciate everybody who poured their energy into making it a banger.”
Representatives say more collaborations will be revealed in the coming months.
Context and tour dates
PNAU is the long-running partnership of Nick Littlemore and Peter Mayes. The pair reached an international audience after working with Elton John on 2012’s Good Morning to the Night, which hit No. 1 on the U.K. Albums Chart, and again via the 2021 remix “Cold Heart” with Dua Lipa.
To support AHHCade, PNAU will play the Australian leg of the Nirvana Tour 2026. The East Coast run begins Friday, June 19 at Gilligan’s in Cairns and concludes July 4 at Woodport Hotel, Erina.
