Tasha Announces You Are Spring, Shares "Clarion" and "Spring"

Tasha announced a new album, You Are Spring, and released two tracks, Clarion and Spring, the latter featuring L’Rain and Jamila Woods. The album follows 2024’s All This And So Much More. It is due June 26 via Bayonet.

Clarion arrives with a video directed by Mars Alba. Tasha said she repeatedly saw a road sign for Clarion while driving between New York and Chicago three times in 2024 and chose the name for the song. She described the track as being about coming and going and the sense that change is near.

The goodness is coming, it’s around the corner, you can feel it!

The album was recorded in Los Angeles and produced by frequent collaborator Gregory Uhlman, whose credits include Meg Duffy and Perfume Genius. Spring also comes with a video directed by Stella Rae Binion. That song was inspired by Gwendolyn Brooks’ 1987 poem “To The Young Who Want To Die.” Check out both videos below.
