Tove Lo Announces New Album Estrus, Shares Lead Single “I’m Your Girl Right?”

Tove Lo has set her sixth studio album, Estrus, for release in September, following last year’s collaborative Heat EP with SG Lewis. Along with the album announcement, the Swedish pop star has now shared the project’s lead single, the trance-leaning dance-pop track “I’m Your Girl Right?”.

The song leans into unease. Its four-on-the-floor pulse, discordant synths, and distant siren-like vocal line keep the track in motion while Lo sings, Promise you’ll never leave me/ Don’t let me down before disco-style keys come in.

The video for “I’m Your Girl Right?” was directed by Nogari and filmed in a former monastery outside São Paulo with a crew of 70 dancers. The album arrives with a 13-track list that includes a feature from Stromae on “Des Fleurs”.
